I felt that Prezi was fairly simple to use, but I am sure that I did not even start to use the many options that must be available. I feet that this is not a tool I would use much as a first grade teacher. I really like using Smart Notebook and know the tools really well. I feel Prezi would be too difficult for first graders to navigate to make a presentation themselves.
I think the kids would like to watch it! Fun!
ReplyDeleteNice job! The song STICKS in your brain! I think Prezi is OK, but takes a LOT of time setting it up, correcting the flow, adjusting the layout.
ReplyDeleteGood use of video to capture students attention! And I love the photos you chose! Those will interest most 1st graders for sure. I am glad that you are comfortable with SMARTnotebook and that it meets all of your needs. It is good to explore other tech tools, and sometime you find that you already use the one that is your favorite.

ReplyDeleteI like your presentation and see the kids really catching on to the song. I would agree that this would be a program that we wouldn't have the kids use.
ReplyDeleteAwesome find, Dawn! The students will remember the song plus they'll ask to listen to it many times. It's very catchy! I agree that first graders would have a difficult time navigating the site. Thanks for making our amphibian unit more kid friendly!
