I had fun making this pop up book. I did not like the available clip art, but it was really easy to upload clip art from Google images. This is a fun way to introduce a topic. I feel first graders would think the pop up book was fun to look at and read.
I like that you pulled images from Google. I struggled with the cheesy images they had, too. I agree that this is a creative way to introduce topics to your kids. I think they would love it. Nice job!

ReplyDeleteYour extra time and effort to find and import pictures was well worth it! The story is easy to follow and covers all the basic bus rules. This will definitely be used before the students leave on the first day of school!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip re:Google images! I was also discouraged by the crummy images they had on offer, but if I can use Google that changes everything! Also a very useful story for early year students who maybe haven't all ridden the bus yet, or important reminders for those who have. Very practical!
